Your Most Sacred Charge {Aesthete Aperture}

Hey, Everyone! This is Susie deVille, Founder & CEO of the Innovation & Creativity Institute. In today’s episode of the Aesthete Aperture, we are going to the Lake Sequoyah dam in Highlands, NC at day break. The dam keeps the lake levels in check, and lets the overflow spill into the Cullasaja River. Without this dam, the Town of Highlands would not have an essential source for drinking water, nor a stately body of water for enjoying fishing and boating.

Like the Lake Sequoyah dam, we all need strong boundaries to ensure the integrity of our energy. If we are not clear on our boundaries, nor if we do not communicate them to others and uphold them, we will eventually self destruct. Of all the habits I have implemented to ensure the strength of my creative confidence, I believe the most sacred habit of all is protecting your energy — which is accomplished by having clear and sacrosanct boundaries.
