Part of the park’s walkway is comprised of memorial bricks inscribed with loving and encouraging words for friends and family members who are currently or have been battling cancer. I found this walkway to be enormously moving and a powerful reminder of the importance of saying now what we hold in our hearts. Is there someone you haven’t spoken with lately who may need to hear from you? Have you longed to tell someone how much they mean to you? Or, is there someone who could use your encouraging, loving words? Say the words your heart wants to express. Say them now.
