In today’s episode of the Aesthete Aperture, we are going to the Botanical Gardens at the Nature Center, located in Highlands, NC. In our area of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we are a temperate rainforest. Our unique climate, soil acidity, annual rainfall amounts, temperatures, and topography gives rise to some of the most unique flora and fauna in the world. In fact, there are plants and animals here that exist nowhere else!
