Hey, Everyone! This is Susie deVille, Founder & CEO of the Innovation & Creativity Institute. In today’s episode of the Aesthete Aperture, we are going on a hike in Blue Valley, on a misty, early spring, morning. As you’ll see, my sweet golden retriever, Sophie, is with me and is enjoying the opportunity to really stretch her legs. As passionate, creative leaders, we are often like Sophie — joyful, filled with energy, and desirous of running ahead to explore, create, and a make a difference. Sometimes in our exuberance, we can unknowingly leave others behind by not being mindful if our messaging and creative works truly connect with those we want to move and impact. It’s always a good idea to pause every now and then, check to see if we have too much distance between us, and if so, meet our audience where they are.
