The messages that catch you at the corners of your senses—the ones that are powerful and unforgettable—build true connection built by speaking directly to the soul.
Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

Finding True Connection
One of my favorite Sunday morning rituals is to put on some jazz, make a frothy, rich cappuccino, grab my journal and pen, and sink into a realm of bliss.
Last Sunday, I opened Pandora on my phone and an image about the size of a pencil eraser popped up on the lower left corner of my screen. Electricity coursed through my body. I immediately wanted to know…what is THAT?
I clicked on the image and saw this album cover art at full size:

Before clicking on the image, my brain had not been able to fully take in the tiny graphic. In fact, my eyes could barely even see it (especially without my glasses).
But my soul already knew what my intellect was yet to discover/confirm.
This image stopped me in my tracks because I could feel the energy of the art.
A second or two after clicking on the image, I could discern black, wavy lines made with a free and bold energy, punctuated with a splash of red. Now my brain had enough clues to catch up to my soul and acknowledge: This is my kind of art.
Soulful Communication is All Around Us
Since I arrived in Paris a couple of days ago, this phenomenon has occurred about every five minutes or so. As I wander through the city, something out of the corner of my eye will grab my attention. An artful and unique window display. A dazzling scarf worn by the woman crossing the street. The way the light bounces off the Seine in the late afternoon.
All things my soul adores.
Here, I am inspired and delighted nearly constantly, finding true connection everywhere. Paris’ soul communicates directly with my own.
Learning to Speak Directly to the Soul
True connection has become a rare and precious commodity in an era saturated with information. Every day, we are bombarded with countless messages, yet only a few truly resonate with us. Why? Because the most powerful messages do not just appeal to our intellect—they bypass it entirely, speaking directly to the soul.
This ability to communicate on a deeper level is not a mystical talent but a profound understanding of human psychology and the subconscious mind. Research confirms my experience with the album cover—our subconscious mind processes information long before our conscious awareness kicks in.
What does this mean for those who seek to communicate effectively? It means that words alone are not enough. If we want to reach our desired audience, we must engage their subconscious, their emotions, and, ultimately, their soul.
The most memorable and impactful messages connect to something primal within us.
Through the use of vivid imagery, engaging with emotion first, and harnessing the power of metaphor, we can craft messages that leap right over the intellect and speak directly to the subconscious.
And while polished marketing may impress, authenticity connects. When we speak from what we honestly love and believe, our messages will land.
Be the Bridge for Soulful Connection in Your World
In a world filled with noise, those who master the art of soulful communication will stand out, touch lives, create lasting impact, and forge true connection. The mind may analyze words, but the soul feels truth.
Speak to our souls. Not only will we hear you, we’ll likely never forget you.
