Our Pure Principles & Visionary Goals
I have spent the last decade deeply researching the best practices in innovation and creativity, employing them in my own entrepreneurial ventures, as well as working with companies to foster the same in their organizations.
Our Unique & Unparallelled Approach
Whether you’re a company of two dozen or two hundred, change starts with you as an individual. And the deVille Hierarchy of Innovation & Creativity™ is the perfect place for you to begin – a pyramid for success, starting with personal wellness, courage, and vulnerability; moving through to creating the right culture; habits; strategies; and employment of leverage.
Vessel + Spirit: At the base is the leader’s physiology, as well as the physiology of the individual team members. If people are not in good physical and mental condition, their ability to tap into their creativity and build creative confidence is highly compromised. Often, we numb ourselves with harmful lifestyle choices because we are not expressing ourselves creatively, and thus the vicious cycle begins. If your system is filled with gunk, your energy is low, your continuity of thought is low, your idea generation and execution is low, and your ability to spot trends and find solutions is low. Conversely, if the leader’s and the team’s vessels and spirits are clean and strong, the positive ripple effect throughout the organization is evident.
Culture: A strong, healthy culture has to be in the cellular makeup of the organization. How do you go about creating a way of life within the organization that fosters innovation and creativity? As in, how do you go about the business of generating new ideas and potentially, more importantly, how do you go about the process of deciding which ideas to pursue and not discounting ideas due to fear?
The organizational culture either fosters or impedes innovation and creativity. Are there aspects of the culture that support/reward taking risks, experimenting, working across silos, as well as tolerating and actively learning from failure? How are ideas generated, communicated and executed? Is the organization “flat” with regard to how innovative ideas are heard and implemented? Or, are only a “chosen few” in charge of ideation?
Habits: Creating daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual leadership and organizational habits as they pertain to fostering innovation and creativity are essential to success. I can show you how!
Strategy: Standing at the edge of the woods, you know where you ultimately want to be at the end of the journey. It’s time to map the strategies. It’s time to think through what your strengths are and how to sure up those strengths before you head into the woods. Successful organizations set strategy and course-correct continually to maximize market fit and ability to execute.
Leverage: Atop the hierarchy are the points of leverage that enable you and the entire organization to operate with maximum agility, responsiveness, positive workflow, and consistent value creation.
